Not at all! We welcome all skill levels. Our guided tours are perfect for beginners, and we provide a full safety and paddle orientation before every trip.

• Change of clothes/towel (for after your trip)

• Guided Tours include a knowledgeable local guide who leads you through the salt marshes, points out wildlife, and shares barrier island history.

• Rentals are self-guided. We provide a map and launch you from our landing area, conveniently located directly on a safe ares of the Intracoastal Waterway.

You may spot dolphins, pelicans, herons, egrets, ospreys, and even sea turtles. The salt marshes are full of life—every trip is a little different!

• Children age 4 and up are welcome.

• Kids under 12 must paddle with an adult in a tandem kayak.

• All participants must wear a life jacket (provided).

Yes! We have both single and tandem kayaks. Let us know your preference when booking.

We monitor weather closely. If conditions are unsafe (e.g., thunderstorms, high winds), we will contact you to reschedule.

We’re based in Swansboro, NC, just off Highway 58, in the back yard of the property. We have direct access to the pristine salt marshes and tidal creeks of the Intracoastal Waterway.
